2013-04-04 23.37.32

As you may or may not know, I am a hair and makeup artist. So I’m very excited to start sharing hair tutorials with you guys here on the blog! If you made the studded hair comb from my previous tutorial then you’ll love these three hair dos where you can add the comb to “stud” them up! check it out after the jump! Sequence 01.Still004

You will need:

  • 3 twist pins (or regular bobby/hair pins)

  • An elastic and off course

  • the studded hair comb!

Let’s get started, first up

the Studded Ballerina

Sequence 01.Still005 Put your hair into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic. Sequence 01.Still006 Twist the ponytail and form into a bun. Sequence 01.Still007 Secure with twist pins or regular bobby/hair pins if you don’t have twist pins. Sequence 01.Still008 Finish off by adding the comb in front of the bun, Sequence 01.Still009 or just stick it in the back, under the bun!   moving on to

the Studded Pin-up

Sequence 01.Still010 Smooth out your hair on one side. Sequence 01.Still011 With the comb vertical to the head, comb and insert into the hair, pushing forward to secure. And last one

the Studded Milkmaid

Sequence 01.Still012 Section your hair down the middle into two sections. Sequence 01.Still013 Braid one section while lifting it to avoid bumps. Secure with an elastic for now. Sequence 01.Still014 Repeat on the other side but skip the elastic. Sequence 01.Still015 Use twist pins to secure the braids on each side and on the top at the middle. Sequence 01.Still016 Add the comb in front of the braids. My friend who saw this said this one looks like the statue of Liberty. I don’t know…hmm maybe :) Hope you enjoyed and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions! See you soon
