If you’re on a gluten free, anti candida diet or just want something different instead of rice or pasta then this recipe is for you! Transform plain old millet (also works well with quinoa or rice) into something delicious!

Herbed Millet (Gluten Free – Anti candida)

Ingredients

serves 1-2

  • 1 cup millet
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/3 cup chopped basil
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  1. In a large saucepan, boil the millet in 2 cups water.
  2. While the millet is cooking, in a blender combine the rest of the ingredients to make a paste.
  3. Combine herb paste and millet. Toss to combine and season with sea salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Enjoy!
